Tesh has co-founded and led startups in Hardware Simulation, Indoor Navigation, Logistics and Email Security. A pioneer in community contributions, he founded the first-ever email discussion group for Ethiopian professionals before the advent of the web. He co-founded ToloFood, the online food ordering service in Addis and later moved to the US, and developed Kesto, a comprehensive Ethiopian and Eritrean social-plus app.
Currently, Tesh is involved in multiple ventures, including Kesto, the Ethiopian/Eritrean Social+ app, CyberSTE, a Cybersecurity consulting firm, and a stealth Data/AI startup in Silicon Valley. In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, Tesh is committed to giving back by mentoring youth, engaging in philanthropic efforts, and advising tech startups. His spare time is dedicated to reading, writing, and staying at the forefront of innovation through continuous software development and experimentation.
