Mamar Gelaye is VP of OpsTech Solutions - a 1B supply chain organization within Amazon, responsible for the entire computing infrastructure that runs the wireless network and device infrastructure across the Worldwide Stores operations. Born in Ethiopia, with a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Knoxville, Mamar is a strategic executive whose mission is to create and deliver cutting-edge technologies and services that optimize and enhance Amazon's operations and customer experience, leveraging robotics, automation, and IoT.

Throughout her extremely dynamic career she has over 20 years of technical and leadership experience across multiple industries including healthcare, energy, aerospace & defense, and now e-commerce. At the end of the day, Mamar is a proud mother-of-two, first and foremost. She has climbed the Himalayas, loves to skydive, is a Shih Tzu Poodle dog-mom, and is a life-long avid reader.
